A personalised, hand painted wedding invitation card design for my own wedding

There is a double cross bar to symbolise to people coming together in holy matrimony. The laurel leaf represents the triumph of life and continuity as we the couple enter a life of wisdom and stability.

As the wedding was conducted at the former Spanish Chapel, the central flower resembles a red and gold sun. It was also a Christmas wedding and so there is a sprinkling of winter plants and berries.
