Blue and white geometric pattern

Azulejos are found throughout Portugal on the interior and exterior of churches and are usually painted in blue and white. I remember seeing them on pilgrimages to Fatima, Coimbra and Lisbon and being in complete awe. They often tell the story of the life of a saint, like St Anthony of Padua or they can be a geometric pattern like these.
